Position Overview:
Vantage Home is seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for closing appointments generated through our lead generation efforts while also actively participating in field activities to generate new leads. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding their energy needs, and guiding them through the solar installation process to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Close appointments generated through inbound inquiries, outbound efforts, and appointments set by the Appointment Setters.
- Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective clients to understand their energy consumption, assess their solar needs, and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Generate new leads and opportunities through proactive field activities such as canvassing, networking events, and client referrals.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our products/services, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle, ensuring satisfaction and facilitating referrals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including installation crews and customer service, to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay informed about industry trends, solar technology advancements, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in lead generation and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, installation processes, and financing options is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed.
