Key Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct field inspections to assess construction progress, quality, and compliance with project
specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure that engineering and construction plans
are correctly implemented.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise on-site, providing effective solutions to
maintain project timelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of field activities, including inspection reports, test results, and
daily logs.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure alignment
with construction practices.
- Perform material testing and quality control checks to ensure that materials meet project requirements
and industry standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor construction work to ensure it adheres to engineering standards, building codes, and contractual
agreements.
- Prepare and submit field reports documenting project progress, deviations from plans, and any
encountered issues.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing change orders, ensuring that all modifications are documented and
communicated effectively.
- Support the implementation of health and safety plans on-site, ensuring compliance with safety
regulations and industry best practices.

- Facilitate communication between the field and office teams, ensuring that any changes or issues are
promptly addressed and resolved.
- Utilize construction management software and tools, such as Procore or Bluebeam, to manage field data
and communication.
- Assist in the coordination of project inspections with local authorities and ensure that all required permits
are secured and up to date.
- Contribute to project meetings and provide updates on field conditions, progress, and any potential
impacts on the project schedule.


Qualifications:


- 2-3 years of experience as a Field Engineer, with a strong background in construction and engineering
principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical issues effectively.
- Proficiency in construction management software and engineering tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and
stakeholders.
