Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that all phases of the project are executed
according to the plans and specifications.
- Manage and supervise onsite personnel, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers, to ensure
that work is performed safely and to high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule various trades and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time
and within budget.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with project
requirements.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan or
potential delays.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and
inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, providing effective solutions to maintain
project timelines and quality.
- Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident
reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is completed to the required quality and safety
standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to address any design or construction issues
and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring that they are on-site when
needed and meet project specifications.
- Oversee the quality control process, performing inspections and tests to ensure that materials and
workmanship meet industry standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, including progress, issues, and any changes to the original
scope or schedule.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and
regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a strong
background in general contracting.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
